Amy Larson, PT

A 1985 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse physical therapy program, Amy began her career in physical therapy in Sheboygan, WI. Her career path has been diverse and has provided a variety of settings and responsibilities. She is an experienced clinician in the area of orthopaedics, once serving as the "senior staff therapist in orthopaedics" at a local hospital where she was responsible for mentoring her peers and providing expertise and resources in the area of orthopaedic physical therapy. Education has played a strong role in her professional career from providing patient education programs to serving as a clinical instructor to both physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students.

She has provided physical therapy services primarily in out-patient settings. However, Amy also brings experience in acute hospital care, long-term rehabilitation, and industrial based settings. She has a special interest in hand rehabilitation as well as geriatric orthopaedic care.

Although a native of central Wisconsin, Amy has settled in the Sheboygan county area and is proud to call it her home. Her family and home life keep her active outside of work and she feels staying involved in your community is part of "giving back". When not involved with clients and volunteer activities, you may find her busy in her flower gardens trying to test her green thumb.
